A healing arts curriculum

Art with Intention

You do not need to be an artist to heal through art. You only need to be willing to show up — to the page, to the breath, to yourself. Art with Intention is a five-module healing arts curriculum that weaves guided meditation with creative art-making, offering a gentle, powerful path to restoration, self-discovery, and joy.

What this is

A curriculum designed for the whole person

Each module opens with a written meditation — a quiet invitation to arrive — and moves into hands-on art-making guided by prompts that have nothing to do with skill and everything to do with feeling. There is no wrong mark. There is no failed piece. There is only what arrives when you let yourself be still long enough to listen.

Art with Intention was created for community groups, healing spaces, and individuals ready to meet themselves on the page. It has been offered in nonprofit settings, wellness programs, grief groups, and community centers — and it can be offered by you, too.

01
Beginning the Journey
Setting intentions, establishing safety, and introducing art as a healing practice. The foundation everything else is built upon.
02
Listening Within
Turning inward through intuition, quieting the analytical mind, and discovering what arises when we create without planning.
03
Healing & Restoration
Tender, layered work — giving form to what we carry, finding color in what heals us, and discovering transformation through the creative act.
04
Creating Community
Turning outward — collaborative art-making that holds both individual voice and shared experience, reminding us we are not alone.
05
Celebration & Gratitude
Closing the circle — honoring the journey, naming what has grown, and creating something that says: I was here, and it mattered.

How to use this curriculum

Flexible by design. Yours to shape.

Each module is a complete, standalone experience. You can offer all five in sequence as a full healing journey, or choose a single module for a one-time session. The curriculum is designed to be adapted — for the group in front of you, the time you have, and the space you are in.

As a full series
Offer all five modules in sequence over five sessions. Participants move through a complete arc — from arriving to celebrating — with each session building gently on the last.
As a standalone workshop
Any single module can stand alone. Choose the one that fits your community's needs today — healing, connection, celebration — without needing the others.
For individuals
Each module works beautifully one-on-one. A therapist, coach, or care provider can move through the curriculum with a single person, adapting the pace and depth as needed.
For groups & organizations
Designed for community centers, nonprofits, wellness programs, and healing spaces. Each module includes facilitator notes and group adaptations.

Each module includes a complete facilitator guide, opening meditation script, step-by-step art-making practice, reflection prompts, materials list, and notes for adapting to different settings and group sizes.
