A healing arts curriculum
Art with Intention
You do not need to be an artist to heal through art. You only need to be willing to show up — to the page, to the breath, to yourself. Art with Intention is a five-module healing arts curriculum that weaves guided meditation with creative art-making, offering a gentle, powerful path to restoration, self-discovery, and joy.
What this is
A curriculum designed for the whole person
Each module opens with a written meditation — a quiet invitation to arrive — and moves into hands-on art-making guided by prompts that have nothing to do with skill and everything to do with feeling. There is no wrong mark. There is no failed piece. There is only what arrives when you let yourself be still long enough to listen.
Art with Intention was created for community groups, healing spaces, and individuals ready to meet themselves on the page. It has been offered in nonprofit settings, wellness programs, grief groups, and community centers — and it can be offered by you, too.
How to use this curriculum
Flexible by design. Yours to shape.
Each module is a complete, standalone experience. You can offer all five in sequence as a full healing journey, or choose a single module for a one-time session. The curriculum is designed to be adapted — for the group in front of you, the time you have, and the space you are in.
Each module includes a complete facilitator guide, opening meditation script, step-by-step art-making practice, reflection prompts, materials list, and notes for adapting to different settings and group sizes.
Invite Elizabeth to lead
The curriculum is yours to use freely — and if you would like the person who wrote it to be in the room with you, that is possible too. Elizabeth Tuckwell brings over a decade of experience leading healing arts workshops for community organizations, nonprofits, and individuals across the Chicago area and beyond.
Whether you are planning a staff wellness day, a community healing event, a grief group, or a seasonal gathering, Elizabeth can facilitate one module or all five — in person at your location, or virtually with your group wherever they are.
Sessions available in-person (Chicago area and travel) and virtually via Zoom.

You only need to make something true."
